Rancang Bangun Subsistem Rumah Pemupukan dan Kendali Robot Berbasis website (Studi Kasus: Greenhouse Kebun Raya ITERA)


The implementation of Agriculture 4.0 technology via Smart Farming concepts has become a crucial strategy for enhancing agricultural operational efficiency at the Institut Teknologi Sumatera (ITERA). However, the management of the ITERA Botanical Garden Greenhouse still faces challenges, particularly regarding manual nutrient formula recording and the fragmentation of robot patrol data. This study aims to design and build a web-based fertilizer house and robot control subsystem to centralize these operational data. The system was developed using the Agile Kanban method with a client-server architecture based on Laravel and React, utilizing the MQTT protocol for real-time communication with IoT devices. Test results demonstrate optimal system performance: Black Box functional testing achieved a 100% success rate, compatibility was ensured across 5 platforms (Android, iOS, Windows, Linux, macOS), and high reliability was recorded with a 0.00 % error rate and a p95 latency of 193.36 ms. Furthermore, User Acceptance Testing (UAT) yielded a score of 91.60% with an "Excellent" rating. These results prove that the system effectively addresses data fragmentation and supports the full digitalization of the smart farming ecosystem at ITERA.
