Kontrol Independen Tekanan Darah Sistolik dan Diastolik Menggunakan Jantung Buatan

Blood pressure is a vital indicator for assessing heart and cardiovascular health. The high mortality rate from cardiovascular disease has driven the need for innovation in more effective and accurate blood pressure measurement methods. This study aims to develop a prototype of an artificial heart system that represents the human heart and create a device capable of analyzing factors influencing systolic and diastolic blood pressure, such as vascular resistance. The method used involves simulating human blood flow using acrylic tubes as veins and arteries, with an approach that describes the relationship between pressure and flow rate. The Research results definitively show that the systolic pressure is independently controlled. The results of the study show that the independently controlled systolic and diastolic pressure device developed was successfully designed and can be used as intended. The device is capable of producing systolic pressure measurements in the range of 100.55 ± 1.21 mmHg and diastolic pressure measurements in the range of 80.07 ± 0.46 mmHg. In addition, the results of this study also show the effect of phantom blood vessel diameter variation with sizes (1 mm, 2 mm, 4 mm, 6 mm, and 8 mm) on systolic and diastolic blood pressure values. The smaller the phantom diameter in the device, the higher the blood pressure value produced, while the larger the phantom diameter, the lower the blood pressure value obtained. This indicates the occurrence of narrowing in the blood vessels due to obstruction, causing an increase in blood pressure.
