Eksplorasi Fungi Mikoriza Arbuskula (FMA) Pada Rizosfer Tanaman Matoa (Pometia pinnata) di Arboretum ITERA

Matoa tree is an endemic tree from Papua that has the characteristic of fruit shaped like longan and has a distinctive taste. The potential of matoa can be developed by cultivating it and increasing the productivity of matoa plants so that they grow well. Plant growth including matoa requires sufficient nutrition, both macro and micro nutrients, so that they grow well and have high productivity. AMF can increase the availability of nutrient absorption such as phosphorus (P), nitrogen (N), and potassium (K) in the soil. This study aims to explore the diversity of AMF in the rhizosphere of matoa plants in the ITERA Arboretum. The exploration method used in this study was carried out in stages: (1) taking soil samples around the roots of matoa, (2) isolating AMF spores, (3) identifying and calculating the density, abundance and frequency of AMF spores. The density of AMF spores in this study obtained the number of spores, namely 513 with an average of 32.06. The relative abundance of the genus Glomus obtained a percentage value of 72.51%, the genus Acaulospora 19.88
