PENERAPAN PLC PADA ALAT HUMAN MACHINE INTERFACE (HMI) UNTUK RECIPE ALAT WATER LEVEL


This research will use HMI (Human Machine Interface) for control and monitoring with the PLC as the brain of the tool made and the operation of the tool. HMI is used as a control tool and object classification system, namely in the form of segmentation parameters, the use of HMI is chosen because it is convenient for operation, monitoring data results, and system security. The purpose of making this tool is to facilitate the work of operators in the industrial world. The operation of the HMI control system in the form of segmentation parameters that are regulated through the HMI screen will assist operators in carrying out work more efficiently and in a well-coordinated manner so that industrial processes can run optimally, especially segmentation control for the height of filling the water level tank. Based on the arrangement of industrial equipment using conventional technology by requiring operators to set industrial process work manually, this tool is made to facilitate the operation of industrial processes that are carried out by operators by simply managing and Controlling industrial processes through the HMI screen so that work becomes more efficient and optimal. In addition, HMI also has a security system that is used. Security system connection will protect the device from unwanted interference. HMI also helps database access from PLC (Omron) to PC. The HMI communicates with the PC using an Ethernet cable. The end result of monitoring is that any information that has been obtained from the course of industrial processes will be displayed by the HMI. The database results correspond to the number of industrial process parameters set on the HMI screen.
