KEANEKARAGAMAN SERANGGA PADA REFUGIA Helliantus annus L. YANG BERPOTENSI SEBAGAI MUSUH ALAMI BAGI HAMA Zea mays L. DI BPP LAMPUNG
Corn farmers generally carry out insect control using conventional pesticides which can be bad for the environment.This study aims to determine the diversity of insect pests and natural enemies in sunflower refugia Helianthus annuus L., and corn (Zea mays L.) at the Balai Pelatihan Pertanian Lampung. See what insect pests are present in H. annus L. and Z. mays L. fields, Se what natural enemy insects are in H. annus L. and Z. mays L. This research was carried out on hybrid maize fields at the Lampung Agricultural Training Center (BPPL) and the Zoological Laboratory of the Sumatran Institute of Technology, in MarchMay 2022. This study used three insect sampling methods (yellow trap, hand collecting method, and insect net). The results of this study showed that the insect pests caught came from 14 families in Refugia H. annus and 17 families in Z. mays, and the insects caught which had potential as natural enemies came from 12 families in Refugia plants and in Z. mays. Insect diversity index that has potential as a pest on Refugia H. annus is H'= 2.40 and on Z. mays land is H'= 2.49. The index of insect diversity that has potential as natural enemies in refugia H. annus is H'= 2.25 and on Z. mays land is H'= 2.26, which means it is in the moderate category.
