Analisis Hubungan Posisi Bumi, Bulan, dan Matahari Terhadap Aktivitas Gunung Api Anak Krakatau Menggunakan Metode Regresi
Regresi polinomial ialah regresi linier berganda yang dibangun dengan menjumlahkan pengaruh variabel bebas yang dipangkatkan secara bertambah hingga ordo ke-k. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah membangun dan mengkaji model regresi yang baik dan menganalisis ada atau tidaknya pengaruh serta hubungan antara posisi bumi, bulan, dan matahari terhadap aktivitas Gunung Api Anak Krakatau. Hasil dari penelitian dengan menggunakan metode regresi polinomial yang melewati beberapa pengujian yaitu uji asumsi klasik dan uji koefisien regresi menghasilkan 18 persamaan dengan ordo maksimal yang diperoleh adalah ordo ke-10. Berdasarkan analisa yang dilakukan, diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa terdapat pengaruh antara Jarak Bumi ke Matahari terhadap Durasi Erupsi Periode Juli sampai Desember dan Jarak Bumi ke Bulan terhadap Nilai Volcanic Explosivity Indeks (VEI) Periode Juli sampai Desember.

Polynomial regression is a multiple linear regression which is built by adding up the effect of the independent variable which is raised to the k ordor. The purpose of this study is to build and examine a good regression model and analyze whether or not there is an influence and relationship between the position of the earth, moon, and sun on the activity of the Anak Krakatau Volcano. The results of the study using the polynomial regression method that passed several tests, namely the classical assumption test and the regression coefficient test resulted in 18 equations with the maximum ordor obtained being the 10th ordor. Based on the analysis carried out, it is concluded that there is an influence between the distance of the Earth to the sun on the duration of the eruption for the period of July to December and the distance from the earth to the moon on the value of the Volcanic Explosivity Index (VEI) for the period of July to December.
